Welcome potential sponsors!

My name is Eric Hill. I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. In 1997 I opened Hill's Collision Center in Okmulgee, OK. This has given me the opportunity to participate in community events in surrounding area throughout the year, such as car shows, Livestock Shows, etc. In 2004 I started racing a "Factory Stock" car at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa on Saturdays. The class name is changing for 2007 to "Super Stock". What I enjoy about racing is the competitiveness of the sport, the friendships formed as a result of being around many other fine people, and the satisfaction of improvement. I also take great pride in the fact that my family enjoys watching and supporting me.
In 2004, my Rookie year, I ran 26 of 32 races. I had 2 "B" Feature wins, and finished in the top 10, in "A" Feature, 12 times. I was 13th in points for the season out of 72 drivers. In 2005, I ran an even better season. I missed only one race, due to illness. I ended the season with my 1st "A" Feature win and 5th in points for the season out of 37 drivers. Last season 2006, I ran 31 of 31 races. I finished the season 2nd in points and with the detrimental start to the season, many were surprised. My hope, for this season, is to continue to improve and take my racing program to an even more successful level. First in points this season is my goal! I realize that in order to do that, it will take commitment on my part and my entire team as well as sponsorship. Last year I was blessed with 4 very important sponsors, which made the season even better than the past years. I know that with the support of more sponsors this season, I can obtain my goals of an even better racing season.
Creek County Speedway has an average fan attendance of around 900 - 1100 fans per race night. The average car count is generally over 125. (Results obtained from CCS) CCS is promoting the track with a new class, non-wing sprints, being added, which will only increase the fan attendance and car counts for the 2007 season.
Sponsorship gives you 4 different means of advertising.
1) Your company name on my race car, placed in a clearly visible location, making it available to not only the fans in the stands, but racers and their teams in the pits, as well as serving as a traveling bill board to and from the races. NOTE: While many teams run cars that, over time, tend to wind up pretty battered and ragged, I make every effort to keep my race car looking as good as possible and always clean in its appearance. I like people to notice!
The car was awarded "Best in Show" in 2006 and 2008!
2) The occasional verbal announcing of sponsors at the track.
3) A listing on my website under the sponsors recognition page. This will include relevant information so as to make it easy for visitors, to my site, to find and contact you. This may include phone numbers, your location, an e-mail address or, if you have one, a link to your website. (My website, www.Hillsracing.com, also serves as a place to keep up to date with the progress of my racing program.)
4) We are designing T-shirts for the entire team. They will feature the "Hill's Racing" logo on the front. Every sponsor will receive one of these shirts. As well as a frame quality photo of the car after your name has been placed on the car.

There are various ways to provide sponsorship, either through goods, services or monetary. This season to take the questions out of acceptable sponsorship the following schedule has been established:
1. Quarter sponsor cost: $300.00
2. Deck sponsor cost: $250.00
3. Hood sponsor cost: $150.00
4. Roof sponsor cost: $150.00
5. Fender sponsor cost: $100.00
6. Door sponsor cost: $ 50.00
7. Then there are always goods and services that are needed, also.

The above are only a guideline. As you can see sponsorship is helpful in accomplishing what I hope for the 2007 racing season. Sponsorship, of any size, or donation of any items, is welcome and appreciated. There will be no conflicting advertising. Your type of business will be the only one of its type advertised on the car. I hope that this proposal has answered most questions that you may have. If not, I look forward to meeting with you personally to answer any questions you may still have. A receipt can be provided for any taxes write off if needed.
